Note: Roscoe and Rosey moved to Indiana by train about October, 1924. Rosey had family in this area. Then the depression hit. In January, 1936, in the "cover of night", the family packed up and headed back to BRACK's (Harvey C. Brackenridge Baker) at Cain Creek, Powell Co., KY. Roscoe owed money to Myron Long and the Brighton (Indiana) store. The family returned to Indiana about eleven months later. All debts were settled at that time. Source...
