Feaver of Visalia passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in a Visalia hospital at the age of 92. Mrs. Feaver was born July 7, 1915 in Visalia, CA to Edgar and Annabelle Baker. Mrs. Feaver worked as a registered nurse for Kaweah Delta District Hospital for many years. She later worked as a Director of Nurses for Visalia Convalescent Hospital. Mrs. Feaver was a long time member of Visalia First Presbyterian Church, Visalia Farm Bureau and KDDH Pink Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed gardening, traveling, horseback riding and spending time with family and friends. In her later years she experienced good friends and loving care at Walnut Park Retirement Residence. Through her long life, she nurtured and supported her siblings, her husband, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, patients, and friends. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Pelz and husband David of Davis; a son Claude Feaver and wife Patty of Visalia; grandchildren, Cindy Elkins, Greg Feaver and wife Debby, Kimberlie Pelz and husband Frank Haywood, Jeffrey Pelz and wife Karen, Maury Feaver and wife Willa, and Aaron Feaver and wife Abby. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Matthew Feaver, Melissa Feaver, Joshua Pelz, Delany Pelz, Aubrey Pelz, Maximilliano Feaver, Joanem Feaver, Blakely Feaver, and Charles James Feaver. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice E. Feaver in 1990, a son Cecil Feaver in 2001, 2 brothers, Edgar and Charles Baker and 2 sisters, Helen Moir and Anna Call. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 22, at 10 a.m. at Visalia District Cemetery, followed by an 11 a.m. memorial service at Visalia First Presbyterian Church, 215 N. Locust. Visitation will be held Friday, March 21, from 4-7 p.m. at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. The family requests that any donations go to First Presbyterian Church of Visalia.
