Note: Newspaper obituary Nov. 17 (apparently in Exeter, CA) MRS. JEWELL COBLE, 47, SUCCUMBS IN EXETER Exeter (Tulare Co.), Nov. 17-- Mrs. Jewell Ann Coble, 47, a native of Missouri, died yesterday afternoon in her home in this city following a long illness. She was a member of the local Methodist Church and the Rebekah lodge. Surviving her are two sons, Kenneth W. Coble, Lindsay, and Eugene N. Coble, Exeter: two daughters, Miss Helen Coble, Exeter, and Mrs. Marjorie Brewer, San Diego: One brother, George Baker, Colorado; three sisters, Mrs. Clossie Carns and Mrs. Stella Martin, San Diego, and Mrs. Hazel Gwinn, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning probably in the Hadley Chapel here with Rev. Edwin Sweet of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery. California death records list her age as 46 and give date of death as Nov. 16, 1939. There may have been another child that died very young. Find a Grave gives date of birth as 1894, but Exeter Cemetery Records and Clossie Carns' notes give 1893.
