a. Note:   t. Andrews, Leeds and Elizabeth Ann living at Wiganthorpe. When daughter Grace Hannah was christened 07 Sep 1865 the address was 8 Corporation St., Leeds. In 1871 the family is at Stamford Bridge, Yorkshire although Robert is not at home. The 1881 census for East Stamford Bridge, Yorkshire, England lists him as a farm labourer and Primitive Methodist lay preacher. After the death of wife Elizabeth he and his family emigrated to Canada in 1882 and initially settled in Peterborough, Ontario. The family are in the passenger list for the "Parisian" {Allan Line}. Address Dec 1907: 40 Main St., W. Toronto Junction; in Apr 1901: 40 N. Pacific Ave., Toronto Junction. He was chr. 15 Sept 1841 [OPR Dalby Yorks]. There were no children from the second marriage. A Robert Howland is listed in Vernon's 1895-97 Directory of Peterborough and Ashburnham at 147 Murray. This may be Robert Jr. Robert and Wilhelmina are at 40 Mahar St., York W in 1911 and 2nd Ave., Lumsden in 1921.
