The 1901 census gives her birthdate as 10 August 1855 but the IGI gives 10 August 1856. IGI gives birth parish as E. Clythe, Latheron, Caithness; Marriage certificate gives birthplace as Wick, Sutherlandshire, Scotland. She is recorded as a passenger Liverpool to Quebec (arrived 23 Sep 1889) and on to Toronto. She was the d/o George Morrison and Eliza (Janney?).
