Note: OBITUARY ABSTRACT Der Sendbote, 20 Aug 1953. Mrs. Margaret W�hl, daughter of Heinrich and Rosina Bamesberger and wife of Georg W�hl, resident of 324 Hilborn St., Lodi, was born 11 Mar 1887 in Hoffnungsthal, South Russia. In 1905 she came to the United States and settled in Wishek, ND, where she lived until 1936, when she moved with her family to Lodi, CA. In 1907 she married George W�hl. They had 10 children, 2 of which died in childhood. She died 13 Jul 1953 at age 66 years, 4 months and 2 dagys. Survived by her husband; 3 daughters and 5 sons: Alvin, Arthur and Sam W�hl of Lodi, Mrs. Hilda Nicholas of Lodi, Elmer W�hl of Accampo, CA, Gilbert W�hl of Harvey, ND, Mrs. Viola Wright of Sacramento, CA, and Mrs. Margaret Balliet of Elk Grove, CA; 18 grandchildren; nephew Walter Bamesberger of Lodi; a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John W�hl of Lodi.
