a. Note:   Bishop arrived in Oak Ridge in 1945. He worked for three years at TNEastman Kodak. He worked for a while at the Y-12 plant.
  He retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1973 where he workedas an Engineering Technician in the Instruments and Controls Division.
  Martin Funeral Home handled his funeral. Fr. Gregory L. Boissert officiated at the funeral.
  Article in The Oak Ridger, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Friday, August 7, 1987 BISHOP C. LUTTRELL AVID OAK RIDGE BOWLER Bishop C. Luttrell, 79, of 136 Nevada Circle, died this morning at his home. Mr. Luttrell was an avid bowler and was inducted into the OakRidge Bowling Association Hall of Fame last year. A Frankfort, KY, native, Mr. Luttrell came to Oak Ridge in 1945 and was employed for three years at Tennessee Eastman Kodak. He later was employed at the Y-12 Plant. He retired in 1973 from Oak Ridge National Laboratory as an engineering technician in the instrument and controlsdivision. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In addition to the bowling, he enjoyed playing cards. Mr. Luttrell is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Barr Luttrell;three sons, John Luttrell, George Luttrell and Robert Luttrell, all of Oak Ridge; three daughters, Sister Joann Luttrell of Springfield, Ohio, Jane (Mrs. Dale) Klobe of New Madrid, Mo. and Peggy Luttrell of Johnson City; three sisters, Pearl Grugin, Christine Moore and Agnes Turner, all of Frankfort; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday night, August 9, from 7 to 9 at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7. The funeral will be Monday, August 10, at 10 A.M., at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Gregory L. Boisvert officiating. The family requests that memorials take the form of gifts to the giver's favorite charity.
