Beamish, Grant C. - 10101 Clio Rd., Clio, age 77, died Monday, November 8, 1971, at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday at the Chappell Funeral Home, Clio, Rev. Norman Jameson officiating. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 this evening. Mr. Beamish was born in Saginaw on May 29, 1894, the son of William and Edith (Carnigie) Beamish, and had resided in Clio the last 50 years. He married Helen Clark on June 24, 1922 in Clio. Mr. Beamish was a World War I Navy Veteran and retired from Chevrolet Motor Division in 1959. Surviving are: wife, Helen, 2 sons, William R. and Donald C. both of Clio; daughter, Mrs. Robert (Maxine) Revels of Clio; 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Glenn Beamish of Houghton Lake and Ray Beamish of Flint; 2 sisters; Mrs. Roy (Una) Landskroener of Gladwin and Mrs. Charles (Cecile) Dinnan of Clio; several nieces and nephews.
