Note: Warren Smith was named after his father's twin brother who had died at the age of five. He grew up in New Hampshire along the sea coast region. As an adult he moved to Boston to find work, first as a machinist and then as a firemen for the Boston Fire Department. He resided at 60 Chelsea St., Boston in the 1870's and later moved to East Boston, living on the same street as his wife's parents. After his wife's death he moved to Dorchester to be near his children. He died of liver failure in 1911 and is interned at Forest Hills Cemetery.
