Notes
a. Note:   N637 August Kisserow (b. 1853) is believed to have come to America in 1877 on board the steamship Main arriving from Bremen to New York on April 14, 1877. The year of his arrival coincides with the date my ancestor Albert Kisserow is said to have come to America. He lived in Berlin, Wisc. and may never have married. He had a loom in his home and was a weaver of small rugs and blankets. His mother Justina was living with him as of the 1900 federal census, as well as a niece Elizabeth Kisserow.
