Notes
a. Note:   N27 Anna Soder Devalska died when her children were still quite young. - Evangelina Turcotte Basquette has a birth certificate for her mother Mary which stated Anna's birthplace was Poland. Anna was buried in Stetsonville, Wisc. My mother said Anna came from Poland with Jacob (Zdrzelski?) DeValska/Develski.
I have found evidence that my family may have remembered the spelling of the “Soder”name incorrectly. On the Wisconsin marriage certificate of her daughter Mary, the bride’s parents are listed as follows: bride's father's name: Jacob Devalska; bride's mother's name: Annie Schodran. Although there are other mispellings in the transcription of this document, it is clear that Anna’s maiden name may not actually be spelled Soder.
