Note: Living in Grimsley, Fentress Co, TN in Apr 2003. Obituary in The Fentress Courier 24 Jun 2009 -- Claude L. Cook, age 74, of Grimsley, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 at his home. Mr. Cook was born February 8, 1935 in Wilder, Tennessee. He was a truck driver for the ?County Highway Department. Mr. Cook is survived by two sons, Ronnie Cook and wife Angela of Crossville and Ricky Cook and wife Kim of Lake City, FL; daughter, Sherry Sloan of Jamestown; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Johnny Fred Cook of Monterey; and four sisters, Linda Sue Frates, of CA, Odean Paulette Beaty of Clarkrange, Patsy Swallows of Crossville and Louberta Copeland of Jamestown. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by father, Andy Elmer Cook; mother, Martha (Boles) Cook; sister, Annie Gentry; and four brothers, Frank, Hubert, Bob and Carl Cook. Funeral services were held Monday, June 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clarkrange Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. David Harris officiating. Burial followed in the Goney Cemetery. Pallbearers included Randall Beaty, Coy Flowers, Ward Beaty, Leonard Sloan, Ricky Cook and Ronnie Cook. Jennings Funeral Home of Clarkrange, Tennessee was in charge of services.
