a. Note:   stle, died Friday in henry County Memorial Hospital. Born March 15, 1916 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Bertha Clark Shelley. She was a life resident of New Castle and attended New Castle High School. She was a member of the Broad Street Alliance Church. She was both a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader, and a PTA officer. She worked for several years in the food service department of New Castle High School and also worked for several years at Medi-Save Drugstore in New Castle. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Roe; two daughters, Mary (Mrs. Hugh) Winslow of Muncie, and Grace (Dr. Carroll Galvin) of Sleepy Eye, Minn.; a son, the Rev. Ronald Lord of Janesville, Wis.; three sisters, Inez Shelley, Betty York and Mary (Mrs. Raymond) Smith, all of New Castle; and two brothers, Bill and Kenneth Shelley, both of New Castle; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Lord in 1981; a son, Donald Robert Lord; a daughter, Rosalie Lord; and a sister, Mildred Johnson. Services will be 110:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Broad Street Alliance Church, with the Rev. Norwood Kreunzinger officiating. Burial will follow in the South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Broad Street Alliance Church.
