Owens: gene & janice owens [[email protected]] -- My Great Grandmother Nellie Ellen Whited York was born 1845 day and month is unknown me, she died May 1, 1911, My Grandmother York Helped dress her out for the funeral and buriel. She is buried in the Bills Creek Cemetery,(I have never heard it called the Hack SmithCemetery), she is buried along side her Husband George Washington York Sr who was born Feb 29 1844 and died August 12, 1913. I might add also that George`s father and mother: Jesse Russell York Born 1807 and died April 1865, and Malinda Ann Lance York Born 1808 and died June 1865 (Two Months after Jesse Russell`s death) are also buried side by side in the Bills Creek Cemetery as is George`s Grand Father, Thomas york Sr Born 1771 Died 1846 and George`s Grandmother Frances Mitchell York born 1774 Died 1855 ( both are buried in the bills Creek Cemetery) I know all this because I had to take My Grandmother york ( She Married Jesse Frances York) to the Bills Creek Cemetery and to the Taylor Cemetery every Decoration Day and she would always put flowers on each grave I mentioned above plus on her Father and Mother`s graves, Her Father was George Washington Crisp Born Jan 1845 and died March 4, 1904 and Her Mother was Sarah Elizabeth Sargent Crisp Born April 1856 and Died April 20 1916 Both are buried in the Bills Creek Cemetery . (All those people lived and died in the Bills Creek Community or in the Boatland Community which is just up the road a piece.) Bruce... When My Grandmother York Decorated all the above mentioned graves ther were no head stones....... So my Cousins and Myself got together and Bought Markers for all the Graves so our Grand Children would know where they were when they became intrested in later life. is NOT responsible for the content of the GEDCOMs uploaded through the WorldConnect Program.
