a. Note:   arrett, 56, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home, with Bro. Kelly Rich officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens. Mr. Garrett died Saturday, September 22, at CumberlandHouse Hospice in Crossville. He worked for Livingston Wilbert Vault Co. and was of Missionary Baptist faith. Born January 2, 1956 in Overton County, he was the son of the late Castle and Dulcie (Cooper) Garrett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Garrett; and a granddaughter, Grace Marshall. Survivors include his wife, Diane (Ogletree) Garrett of Livingston; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Misti Garrett of Livingston; 4 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Jaime Garrett of Livingston, Melissa and Jamie Fields of Baxter, Misti Evans of Livingston, and Jessica and James Marshall of Springfield, TN; a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Leigha Mae Fletcher of Livingston; a sister and brother-in-law, Edith and John Newkirk of Kansas City, MO; and 16 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Darren York, Damien Garrett, Jeremy Jones, Eddie Morrow, Austin Garrett, and Jason Turner. Special care provided by Speck Funeral Home.
