a. Note:   ter, 99, of Rickman, were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home, with Bro. Chris Reagan officiating. Burial was in Hunter Cove Cemetery in Allons. Mr. Hunter died Sunday, December 2, at his son’s home in Smithville. Born February 6, 1913 in Hunter Cove of Overton County, he was the son of the late Walter and Ida (Golden) Hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Caddie Hunter. Survivors include 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Ruth Hunter of Smithville, TN, Dwane and Janet Hunter of Hendersonville, TN, and Glen and Peggy Hunter of Gadsden, AL; a daughter and son-in-law, Jouace and Don Jackson of Columbia, SC; a sister, Bonnie Ferrell of Livingston; 9 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Anthony Hunter, Howard Hunter, Jonathan Hunter, Steve Pickett, Michael Hunter, and Ethan Jackson. Special care provided by Hall Funeral Home.
