a. Note:   dkins, 44, of Cookeville, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper–Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Arms officiating. Burial was in Algood City Cemetery. Mrs. Adkins died Saturday, March 8 at her home. She was a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church. She was a 1987 graduate of Cookeville High School, was employed with The Swallows Agencies, and collectively had over 28 years invested in the insurance field. Mrs. Adkins was active in her community having coached and served on the Board of Directors for Algood T-Ball and Coaches Pitch Baseball for ten years. She served seven years on the committee for the Putnam County Chapter of Susan G. Komen. Born October 28, 1969 in Cookeville, she was the daughter of Martin Migliore Jr. and Shirley Webb. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Reba Migliore, Martin and Frances Migliore; and maternal grandparents, J. D. and Lula Allen. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Rick Adkins whom she married April 19, 1986 in Cookeville; 2 sons, Wade and fiancĂ©e Amanda Smith, and Wesley Adkins, all of Cookeville; mother and step-father, Shirley and Ted Webb of Livingston; father and step-mother, Martin and Brenda Migliore Jr., of Cookeville; 2 sisters, Michele Smith, of Cookeville and Melissa Dover, of Ash Flat, AR; a brother, Chad Webb, of Morristown, MS; father and mother-in-law, Joe Frank and Martha Adkins, of Cookeville, a sister-in-law, Tammy Hoover, of Cookeville; a step-brother, Ian Stewart, of Cookeville; and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers were Chad Selby, Ronnie Reels, Danny Vaughn, Zach Randolph, Danny Cobble, Spencer and Chase Migliore, Will and Wes Roberson, Mike and Greg Hill. Honorary pallbearers were LeAnn Martin, Sally Grimes, Tracy Swack, Linda Welch, Tracy Bussell, Patty Marsh, Deanna Smith, Beth Suits and employees of the Swallows Agencies. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure at Special care provided by Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.
