Obituary in The Fentress Courier 18 Apr 2013 -- Cammie  Cooper, age 97, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Cooper was born September 17, 1915 in Fentress County, Tennessee. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Cooper is survived by son, Gernal Cooper and wife Lillie; six daughters, Kathleen Potts and husband Harry of Selma, IN, Wilma Lee and husband Richard and Betty McCane and Harold Hatfield both of Jamestown, Freeda Shelton and Collier Shelton of Grimsley; Sherry Cromwell and husband Jim of Burrville and Joann Stephens of Texas; daughter-in-law, Mary Cooper of Jamestown; special granddaughter, Sandra Hunt; thirty-six grandchildren; eighty-six great-grandchildren; and thirty-two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by husband, Carson Cooper; father, Isac David Conatser; mother, Martha (Winningham) Conatser; two sons, Floyd Cooper and Jerry Cooper; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Tom Conatser, Jack Conatser, Dennis Conatser and Wheeler Conatser; five sisters, Pearl Wright, Pansey Winningham, Ethel Conatser, Freely Conatser and Bertie Bledsoe. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Chester Rhoad, Bro. David Walker and Bro. Terry McCloud officiating. Pallbearers included David Cooper, Terry Epperson, Micheal Epperson, Jeff Epperson, Lance Maynard, Jammie Brown, Mike Pennycuff, Rex Hodge and Steven Epperson. Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.
