  "History of Fentress County Tennessee." Previously had that he was born in Scott Co, TN. Obituary -- Albert Lester Jones, 79, R.R. 9, died Friday morning in Ball Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Mount Helen, Tenn., where he worked as a coal miner for 15 years. He worked as a carpenter until his retirement. He moved to Muncie in 1978 from Allardt, Tenn. He was a member of Southern United BAptist Church and was an ordained deacon there. He and his wife, Dorothy Opha Jones, celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in October. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Houston Jones, Gaston, and Raymond (Jerry) Jones, Allardt, Tenn.; a daughter, Lorene Jones Ellis, Chicago; a brother, Samuel Jones, Sunbright, Tenn.; a sister, Flora Garrett, LaFollette, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A son, Bobby Dean Jones, and a daughter, Shelvie Jean Jones, preceded him in death. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Parson Mortuary Chapel, with Rev. Jim Sewell and Rev. Robert Burks officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours at the mortuary are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday,.
