By Donna Reed. Peter Terrell Fite, son of Leonard and Winnie (West) Fite, married Elizabeth Matthews, daughter of James and Sarah (Stewart) Matthews. Peter was the great-grandson of Johannas Voigt or "John Fite" who came from German in 1749. Fentress Co, TN History Volume I F224. Eugene Hinds. FCHSNL Volume 6 page 28.
