Mr. Stephens is survived by wife, Peggy (Carter) Stephens of Jamestown; brother Claude "Hack" Stephens and wife Alma of Jamestown; sister Cleta Priest Threet and husband Osco of Jamestown; friend ____ Priest of Fort Wayne, IN; special cousin Jerry Delk of Jamestown; two sisters-in-law, Judy Scpott of Indianapolis, IN; and Lula Scroggins of Allardt; two brothers-in-law, Charles Custer of Indianapolis, IN; and Hollis Tinch of Jamestown; special friend, Glenda Delk of Jamestown; three nephews, Craig Carter and wife Tonya; Ricco Carter and wife Patty; and Rocky Letner and wife Gail; niece, Tosha Crabtree and husband Brandon; and a host of ... Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by father, Ed Stephens; mother Delphia Jane (Delk) Stephens; and brother Kenneth Stephens. Funeral services wsere held Wednesday, March 17, 2004at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Chester Rhoad officiating. Burial followed in Allardt Cemetery. Pallbearers were Craig Carter, Ricco Carter, Rocky Letner, Michael Delk, Mike Stephens and Bud Delk. There was no mention of any posterity. HOME in Jamestown, TN.
