Notes
a. Note:   inehart. May have been born abt 1747 in Tulpehocken, Lancaster Co, PA? Patricia Jones -- jgarrett@btes.tv -- As I understand the sister of Jacob, Elizabeth, married Wm Pangle in Shenandoah VA in 1787. Till then Jacob was the keeper of his sister because both parents are dec'd. Would it not stand to reason that Jacob was also in Shenandoah in 1787? If so then Jacobs son Isaac (b. abt 1775) could not have been born in Montgomery Co., VA, some distance sw from Shenandoah. Furthermore Jacob, and his son Vaslentine and his sister Elizabeth allegedly stole slaves in Dec 1791 and fled to SW of Ohio River (TN area) where they appear on the 1791 Green Co., Tax List. These events are conflicting. How is it Jacob appears in Green Co., TN in 1791 while taking off from VA in Dec of 1791?
Note:   May also have had marriages to Mary Durham and on 2 Sep 1826 (at age 75) to Mary Elizabeth Rh
