I have abstract from "The People of Wilson Co., TN." !BIRTH-MAR-KIDS-DEATH: "Documented Notes on Jennings & Allied Families". Also from Sue Howell. He's buried on Howell's property on Liberty Chapel Road. Community of birth only from Sue Howell chart. Have inventory of his property dated Jan. 4, 1869. Difficult to read. It shows who bought what, including livestock. Some examples: a bull, $15.50; yearling, $11.10; bay horse, $65.50; a horse, $111.00. The forgoing were bought individually. A group of objects was bought that included a 4-horse wagon, sheep, colts, cattle & more. The book "Cemetery Records of West Wilson Co., TN" found in the TN State Archives, lists graves in the Jennings Slave Cemetery. Also it lists various Jennings ancestors of mine, including Anerson (sic) Jennings, Mar. 30, 1806, Oct. 29, 1868; Malinda Jennings, Mar. 27, 1814, May 16, 1894. A note adds that the family Bible spells the name Virlinda Hancock Jennings. Married Jan. 11, 1832. See additional info in my Word document. On 9 Sept., 1870, his children signed a deed for 118.5 acres to C B Anderson. The signatorees were: Sam, Malinda, Malissa, Martha, Ann, Andrew, Richard & John. !LIFE: "Wilson Co. TN Misc.
