II, 1757-1766", p. 49, by Holcomb, @ Charlotte lib., indicates that on p. 129, dated 3 Mar., 1764, it's recorded that George Terry of Anson Co. sold to William Cole, for 30 lbs., land on N side of Pee Dee River, near mouth of Cole Cr., 200 acres which had been granted to Sam'l Davis 24 Dec., 1754. Witnesses were John Cole, John Terry & Joseph Brett. Maybe this was Nancy's ancestor.
