a. Note:   Hobert moved from Clinton to Greenville, Tenn. in 1936 where he was a machine operater in the James Hosiery Mill. In 1945 he moved to Marion, Va. where he worked for Burlington hosiery Mill until he bought and operated the Lone Star Service Station until 1956 when he moved to Kernersville,NC. where he was a machinist with a metal co. until his death on 2-19-1961 at age 57, He was a member of kerwin Baptist Church and was buried in the church cemetery. Minnie also worked in the Hosiery Mills as a Looper until they did away with Loopers. She lived with her daughter Betty until her death after she became disabled to stay by herself.
