Note: Born England On Feb 20, 1833, joined 65th Reg't Volunteered. to serve permanently in North America, transfered to 43rd May 31, 1841, transfered to 77 th Reg't Mar 1, 1846, transfered to Royal Canadian Rifles Apr 1, 1847, Discharged Mar 31, 1954. Received four Good Conduct Medals the last granted Oct 1, 1855 Discharged at 44 years of age five feet seven, brown hair and grey eyes, fresh complexion. Belonged to the English Church up to Apr 29, 1883 Baptized St. John's Church. Resided Log Cabin Lot 18 Howe Island 170 acres. He sold 100 acres in 1860 to Mr. Thompson, keeping remainder.
