a. Note:   Only circumstantial evidence links him to John Richbourg, Jr. There are no conclusive census or any other records that have been found. We do know that by the time he was 20 he was living in the household of Joseph Gibson when he was about 20 (he had been placed there 'for instructions until he was 21'. He married Joseph's daughter, Mary, when he was 20 in Monroe County.
  Do not know when he died, nor where he died. I believe he died around 1863 but have no evidence. 1830 census in Monroe, MS; 1850 census in Attala, MS; 1860 in Attala MS. 1870 family is Guadalupe TX, but he is not with them.
