Names wife, Ruth andchildren, Robert, Joseph, Ezekiel, William and Thomas. (Anon-cup. will.) Listed in his father's will.Ezekiel Young, Jr. came from Virginia and settled on BrushCreek, a tributary of Green River, in Green Co., Kentucky. Hewas courting Rebecca McFarland but her parents decided to moveto Tennessee. After they had been gone a short time, Ezekielcould not bear it and saddled a horse and overtook them. Hethen married Rebecca and brought her back to Kentucky as hisbride. He and Rebecca had nine daughters.He built the old rock mill house on Brush Creek, above Bloyd'smill, in 1816. He operated this grist mill and made gun powderin addition to being a miller.Ezekiel died of pneumonia probably late in 1826. He is buriedin the old cemetery above the road along Brush Creek, a fewhundred yards above the site of his old home which is justacross the creek from his old mill site. Rebecca may be buriedthere also.
