OH Adelaine Edwards, 24, Farmer laborer, b. IA Thomas Edwards, b. 6 Aug, 1842, OH, came to Iowa as a child. He enlisted in the 31th Iowa Inf. 1862 and served in said regiment during the War. He marched with Sherman on his march to the sea. In 1862, Mr. Edwards came home on furlough and married Adelaine Said. Mr. Edwards contracted disease in the Army and has never been well since, being at times a great sufferer. He was taken with peritonitis on Sunday, Nov, 28, and died Tuesday Nov. 30. His body was laid to wait the resurrection morning in the "Correctionville Cem."
