a. Note:   Mary Sinkey was in Delaware Co. OH, 20 Sept. 1836, d. 16 Sept. 1907. She remained in Tower, her birthplace, until she grew up to womanhood. In 1852 she was married to George Bickford and to this union 13 children was born - three girls and ten boys all living but four. Th most of those living attended their mother's funeral. In 1880 George Bickford died and on 22 Feb. 1891, Mary m. to Ira Edwards, who died 31 Jul .1898, after which she lived with her children until her death. The funeral was held at the Emeline Church. Elder John W. Sai, officiating, where a large circle of friends and family together with children, gathered to pay the last sad rites to loving companion and affectionate mother. She was laid to rest in Hickory Grove Cem. "Jackson Sentinel - 8 Oct 1907."
