a. Note:   re life. He farmed by Tyler, MN on his father's home place. (Note: Peter, Sr. retired to a house in the town of Tyler, MN.) In 1946 Pete, Jr. and his young family move to a rented farm SE of Ruthton, MN.
  In 1956 it was discovered that Pete had a serious brain tumor. Peter had a farm sale in 1957 and moved into town. He passed away a few months later in the Tyler Hospital.
  Requiem High Mass was celebrated on Saturday, 27 Jul 1957 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Dionysius Catholic Church at Tyler, MN by Rev. Father Charles Stark, officiating.
  Pallbearers were: Lewis Sandvik, Ansgar Sinding, Lawrence Johnson, Pleun Baartman, Henry Sperling and Otto Lenz. Interment was in St. Dionysius Cemetery, Tyler, MN. Utoft Funeral Chapel, Tyler, MN made the arrangements.
