Former Ellendale Man, Hit By Car, Dies In Hospital..., Diedrich Stolle, 69, of 618 S. Harrison Street passed away at a local hospital for injuries received in an automobile accident, at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon....Street passed away at a local hospital for injuries received in an automobile accident, at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon. Stoli was struck by a car driven by Harry Theo bad when attempting to cross the street at six Avenue between Harrison and Congress Street. He received head fracture, and a broken nose when he was hit by the car which had apparently blinded him. Feel immediately reported the case to police headquarters. Mr. stall he was born in Oldenburg Germany, May 18, 1861. He came to Eldon Dale, North Dakota about 27 years ago where he farm for several years after he made his home with his daughter this is Jay.
