Notes
a. Note:   "Loverna Daniels, daughter of Robert F. and Flora Kindig Conkey, was born July 20, 1876 in Northwest Township, Williams County, Ohio, where she lived her entire life. On January 4, 2896, she was united in marriage to James F. Daniels. She departed this life Feb. 13, 1939, her stay on earth being 63 years, 6 months, and 24 days. Deceased was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She leaves to mourn her passing besides her beloved husband, a sister, Mrs. Carl Lesnet of Edon, O., a brother, Arthur Conkey of Montgomery, Mich., five nephews, two nieces and many friends. Sunset and evening star, Ad one clear call for me, And may there be no moaning of the bar When I put out to sea. But such a tide as moving seems asleep, Too full for sound and foam, When that which drew from out the boundless deep Turns again home. Twilight and evening bell, And after that the dark, And may there be no sadness or farewell When I embark. For, though from out our bourne a time and place, The flood may bear me far; I hope to see my Pilot face to face When I have crossed the bar." (from unknown newspaper) JANUARY 29, 1896 James Daniels and Miss Vernie Conkey, both of Northwest, Williams county, Ohio, were married last week.
