a. Note:   Van Wert Times Bulletin, Dec. 30, 1975 "Miss Florence E. Armstrong, 82, of 233 W. Jackson St., died at 10:30 p.m. Monday at the Van Wert County Hospital after being in failing health for several years. Born May 27, 1893 in Washington Township, she was the daughter of Lafayette and Melinda (Sterling) Armstrong. Survivors include four brothers, George of Mendon, Harry of Fort Wayne, John of Crestline and Ancel of Middle Point; three sisters, Mrs.. Bernice Coon of N. Jefferson St., Miss Mary Armstrong of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Darl (Anna) Walters of Ionia, Mich., and several nieces and nephews. Miss Armstrong was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. She was a retired employee of the former DWG Corp. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brickner's Funeral Home, the Rev. Lowell Nelson officiating. Buial wil be in Kings Cemetery."
