CONKEY, was born in Northwest, Ohio, in 1874 and died March 19, 1895, aged 21 years, 8 months, and 29 days. Four years ago she was married to John Sherer of Northwest and became the mother of two children, the oldest about 3 years and the youngest 4 months old. She had been in poor health for some time and about two weeks ago was stricken down with measles which resulted in her death. A husband, two sisters, and two brothers mourn her death. Funeral services were held at the Whaley church Thursday at 11 o'clock, Rev. Neil officiating. her remains were laid to rest in the Billigstown cemetery." Cynthia was John's first wife.
