Note: "OBITUARY--Mrs. Mary I. Conkey, age 85 years, died Sunday morning at 11:00 o'clock in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Amandy Towman, 523 E. Maumee St., after a week's illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Conkey was born in Pennsylvania and came to Michigan when a girl. She lived in Camden a number of years and was the former Mrs. John Rigelman. She moved to Adrian about 21 years ago. Mrs. Conkey is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Amandy Towman, two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Jefts of Adrian and Mrs. Elizabeth Beichler, of Sterling, Ohio, two grandsons, Harold and Kenneth Black and one great grandson. the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Everiss funeral home with burial at the Oakwood cemetery in Adrian."
