a. Note:   Sherer, David -- David Sherer was born in Cumberland County, Pa., June 6th., 1846, died near Shelby, November 25th., 1874, aged 28 years, 5 months and 19 days. He was for several months severely afflicted with typhoid fever. At times recovery bid fair. So that to many of his friends his death was unexpected. His mortal remains were in connection with funeral services, buried at London Church. He leaves a deeply stricken wife and one child, together with a very large circle of relations to mourn his early departure. -- N.H.L.
