ALBION WAGNER PASSED AWAY TUESDAY Again death has entered our community and taken a worthy and well known citizen, in the prime of life, Mrs. Albion Wager,who passed away at the Sturgis Memorial Hospital Tuesday afternoon, June 10th, at one o'clock. Mrs. Wagner was taken to the hospital June 4th and underwent an operation Tuesday morning and failed to survive. Miss Mary Ann Hunt was born May 26, 1899, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hunt of Wadsworth, Ohio. At the age of six years she came with her family to Michigan, locating at Athens. She had been a resident of Colon for nineteen years. January 6, 1917, she was united in marriage with Albion Wagner. She is survived by the husband, Albion Wagner, four children, Stanley, aged 11 years, Elizabeth 9, Wendell, 7, and Raymond, 6; also by her mother, Mrs. Cora Hunt Wagner, at the home, her father, Clyde Hunt of San Diego, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Mildred Armstrong of Jackson. Mrs. Wagner was a member of the Rebekah lodge in Colon, holding the office of vice grand at the time of her death. The funeral service will be held at the home south of town today at two o'clock. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the entire community.
