a. Note:   From the Van Wert Times Bulletin: Middle Point Man Dies at 73 Charles W. Sterling, 73, retired farmer, died about 11:45 P.M. Friday at the home of his sister Mrs. Hattie Derwort in Middle Point, where he had resided for several years. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sterling, he was born in Jackson Township and resided there until four years ago. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Milford Johns of Van Wert; stepson, Vaughn Adams of Jackson Township; three sisters, Mrs. Derwort of Middle Point, Mrs Margaret Klinger of Defiance, and Mrs Emma Ashbaugh of southwest of Van Wert, and a brother, Frank Sterling of Middle Point. Funeral services in charge of the Dunlap Funeral Home will be held Monday at 2:30 P.M. at the Methodist Church in Middle Point. Rev. R. C. Kimble will officiate and burial will be in King cemetery. Friends may view the body at the Derwort Home.
