a. Note:   Frank and Bessie were married in Middle Point, Ohio. Austin M. Crist, Minister of the Gospel doing the honors. The marriage was witnesses by Hazel Crist and Alice Crist. The Marriage License Application dated 19 Dec 1906 states: That neither of said parties is an habitual drunkard, epileptic, imbecile or insane, and is not under the influence of any intoxicating liquor or narcotic drug. Said parities are not nearer of kin than second cousins, and there is no legal impediment to their marriage. Sworn to before me and signed in my presence: /s/ Frank Sterli /s/ F. H Sweet Deputy Clerk The Marriage of Mr. Frank Sterling with Miss Bessie Hempker was solemnized on the 20th day of December A.D. 1906 by Austin M. Crist, Minister of the Gospel and recorded by E. L.
