a. Note:   JAMES F. DANIELS DIES AT AGE 96; RITES INCOMPLETE MONTPELIER--James Franklin Daniels, 96, of Route 2 Edon, died at 7:30 a.m. Friday in the Williams County General Hospital, following a long illness. Mr. Daniels was born Feb. 21, 1872 in Steuben County, Ind., ad moved to Ohio as a small child. He operated the Cooney Telephone Co., for a number of years. He wife, Vera, preceded him in death. Only survivors are several nieces and nephews. Arrangements for funeral services which will be held Monday are not complete. The body is in the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home where calling hours will be after 4 p.m. Saturday. (from unknown newspaper) JANUARY 29, 1896 James Daniels and Miss Vernie Conkey, both of Northwest, Williams county, Ohio, were married last week.
