  THOMAS JASPER LEWIS, OAKWOOD AVE.
  Thomas Jasper Lewis, 55 years old, died at his home on Oakwood Ave. this afternoon at 3 o'clock after an illness of five weeks. He was a former resident of Hazel Green where he was a well known farmer and had lived in Huntsville during the last three years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Nancy Lewis, two sons John T. Lewis of Huntsville, and Perry Winfield Lewis of Taft, and one daughter, Mrs Mertie Rigsby of Hazel Green. There are also two brothers, James and Edward of Huntsville. Mr Lewis was a member of the Baptist church nearly all his life and was held in esteem by all who knew him. The funeral will be conducted in Charity Church, Hazel Green, Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Alvin L. Bates and interment will be in the church-yard cemetery. Womack will be in charge.
