  The 1900 Grayson, TX census lists a Joel C. Payne, Ellen Payne, wife and sons, Monroe Payne and John T. Payne. Although the birth year information for Joel and Ellen do not match other souces, I believe this is the Warren, TN couple. It says they had nine children with five still livingIn 1900,
  William & Millie N. Roller are living with Joel and Ellen. Must be a daughter, but I sure don't know which one.
