John T. Lewis
John T. Lewis, 71, of Rt. 2 Madison, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Funerial Home chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Laughlin Severice in charge. The Rev. Joe Lindsey will officiate. Mr. Lewis was a retired Baptist minister and a Huntsville resident for 55 years. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Annie Mae Lewis; two sons, Elmer Lewis, Rt. 2 Madison, Charles Lewis of Lythia Springs Georgia; daughter Mrs. Judy Childress of Huntsville; six greanchildren. Pallbearers will be Wayne Brewer, Virgil Pinkerton, Buddy Payne, Josh Burke, Jerry Hovis and Shelby Zimmerman.
