Notes
a. Note:   Troy Eugene Scarborough. b. Nov 29, 1940.
Married: Joan Carolyn Kissinger, Dec 30, 1961. Colorado City, Mitchell County, Texas. I was 'Best Man'. (A.M.S.)
'Pissy Eye', 'Otha Looking Little Devil'. Hateful Quotes from his Mother. Per Troy. Confirmed: A.M.S. Son of Otha Andrew Scarborough & Opal Gladys (Walls) Scarborough. Troy Eugene had a bad habit of 'peeing' in the bed at night, and I had to sleep with him in the same bed when we lived at 791 East 7th Street in the late 1940's early 1950's, Colorado City. He could certainly 'pee' a lot. We finally had seperate beds and I was relieved of waking up with wet pajamas nearly every night. (A.M.S.)
Brother of Albert Mack Scarborough (b. 01-16-1938). I am 2 Years, 10 Months and 13 Days older than my Little Brother.
Uncle to Albert Mack Scarborough, II & Melissa Kay (Scarborough) Lehman. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Troy has diabetic problems and is on an insulin pump.(2009 - 2011). His memory seems to be fading, I talked to him about Larry Bull's motorcycle accident; He did not remember us talking about the accident at the time it happened. Joan has to take care of him carefully, she monitors his insulin pump constantly. Visited in April, 2014. Troy's memory is failing as is his health. He looks to be about 50 Lbs. overweight. Serena and Larry Bull living in a commercial building next to Troy and Joan, Dallas lives/sleeps in Troy and Joan's home. Joan makes meals for the entire family. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Residence: 1997 - 2012 213 South County Road 5605; Castroville, Medina County, Texas 78009.
Troy is so distraught and upset by Tina Jean's death, that he is contemplating moving closer to other family members. He is thinking about an area around Abilene or near to Lubbuck, to move. This will probably pass as time passes.(A.M.S. May 5, 2010)
April 2012. Troy was burning trash in his yard, he thought the fire had gone out, so he decided to throw gasoline on the trash pile; it flamed up and burned him on his right arm and face. He had to have skin grafts to his arm, to help him heal. He admitted to being very stupid in his action. Serena chastised him severely by phone from Hawaii !! Note: Serena is not a person to mince words, she is a lot like her grandmother, Opal; as is my daughter Melissa. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Face Book Post.   Thank you all so very much for your kind words. My dad was my hero. He and my mom raised my sister and I with more love than anyone could possibly fathom. He took us to Europe and made sure we always saw something new. He spanked us when we needed it (which at times was often) but it was the look of disappointment when we had done something goofy that brought us to our knees. My dad was truly amazing and a force to be reckoned with and I am so very thankful he was my dad. He is with the Father now, sitting with my sister, Uncle Frank, cousin Johnny, Mema and Papa, Granny and Grampy, making sure my mom, I, Donna, Troy, Dallas, Aunt Jean and Jim, Ronnie and Barb, Peggy and Jeff, Uncle Al and Aunt Sharon, Mack and Richard, Melissa and Lynn, Uncle Danny and Aunt Lori, Uncle Edward and Aunt Patsy, are all ok. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't already reorganized the Heavenly Host for efficiency (LOL). I am thankful my mom chose him and that he chose my mom. Both of my parents deserve more than they know. I will miss him terribly but I know I will see him again when I get to Heaven. My dad taught me so much, I can fix a car, roof, hang sheetrock, and float and tape among other things, thanks to my Dad.. I love you daddy! Save us a spot!
