Thanks so much! I have been looking for this info for a long time. I had found some info that made me believe Bartlett or Benjamin Hawkins Fitzgerald was he's father. But had no proof. I also have found info that John Joseph Fitzgerald and Mary Hawkins Bartlett were Bartlett and Benjamin's parents and that James Fitzgerald and Mary O'brien was John's parents. But can't connect anyone to James. Do you know if any of this is correct?

8/7/04 My note on above children...as this same author gives a second marriage of John Fitzgerald to Nancy Dodson in 1779, it would seem those children born after that date and before his third marriage were by the 2nd wife, Nancy Dodson? This would include Susanna to William in list above.
