Short, who passed away March 8, 1942. Two years have passed since that sad day Our loved one was called home To stand with our Heavenly Saviour Upon the great white throne. Since then our Darling Timmie Has joined the Heavenly band To stand with you, in Glory, too, Upon the Saviour's right hand. Dear Lord, this has been a lonely place Since you were both called away But in his name, we will meet again On that bright eternal day. Sadly missed by his Wife, Children and Grandchildren. IN MEMORIAM In sad but loving memory of our dear husband, father and grandfather, David L. Short, who passed away six years ago today, March 8, 1948. Deep in our heart lies a picture More precious than silver or gold, It's a picture of you, dearest Husband and Father, Whose memory shall never grow old. You were a devoted husband and father, It was hard to see you go. Our hearts still ache with sorrow As they did Six years ago. They say time heals all heartaches, And helps us forget; But so far time has only proven How much we all miss you yet. Sadly missed by his Wife, Children and Grandchildren.
