Hettel, Anna Hettel, and Frank Hettel and his wife Carrie transfer their claim on land in Henry County (see father's biographical notes) to Edward A. Hettel for the sum of $7,000. Executed in Napoleon, Ohio on Nov. 25, 1898 with a notarized authentication in Huron County on Nov. 28, 1898. 1900 census: Farmer in Flatrock Township. 1907: Warranty deed for lot number 22 in Adam Stouts first addition to the town of Napoleon sold by George and Lillian Lutz to Edward A. Hettel for $3250 dated August 30, 1907. 1910 census: Lived on West Washington St.; see daughter Clara. Name Hettle in census. 1930 census - widower living with daughters Clara and Florence on West Washington Street in Napoleon, Ohio. House valued at $3,500. DEATH: Cemetery marker has death in March.
