 BY A FAMILY NAMED JEWELL. LAST KNOWN ADDRESS WAS TENANT, NEW JERSEY. HATIE
 JEWELL IS BURIED IN THE TENENT CMTY. THE FAMILY WERE MEMBERS OF THE OLD TENENT
 CHURCH. THIS IS ACCORDING TO NOTES MADE BY HER DAUGHTER AUNT MARIE STAHL AND
 GRANDAUGHTER IRMA GRIMME. THIS ENTRY USES THE INFORMATION THAT IRMA USED WHEN
 SHE FILLED OUT HER PEDIGREE CHART IN HER BOOK OF REMBRANCE.
 DURING A FAMILY GATHERING AT LAVERNES (ONE OF HER GRANDAUGHTERS),HOME IN PENN.
 EVERYONE WAS GOING THROUGH BOXES OF OLD FAMILY PICTURES. GEORGE WAS THE FIRST
 TO POINT OUT THAT JULIA AND HER DAUGHTERS LOOKED VERY MUCH LIKE AMERICAN
 INDIANS, AS DID PICTURES OF HER EXTENDED FAMILY ONLY MORE SO. IT WAS REVEALED
 THAT EVERY YEAR THE FAMILY RETURNED FOR LONG VISITS TO MAINE TO SEE RELATIVES.
 THEY WERE STRIKINGLY ATTRACTIVE WOMEN. I INCLUDE THIS BECAUSE IT RAISED MANY
 QUESTIONS AMONG MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY THAT WERE PRESENT, ESPECIALLY SINCE
 JULIA WAS RAISED BY A FAMILY NOT HER BIRTH FAMILY.

 According the birth certificate of Marie Martha Stahl Kleeman(daughter) there were 8
 children born of this marriage with 6 surviving One of the children who died was August , born 1893 died 1896, I was unable to locate any other child.
  1/27/05, I beleive Charles Stahl no dob, date of death 12/31/1888 Fairmount Cemetary was the other child of Julia who died

 4/2005 1900 census lists Julia as black and the children as black /b (i beleive this means part black ,however the 1910 census list her as black and the children as white
