Note:   John George MUNN was born in Brereton, Rugeley, Staffordshire in 1893.Like his Father, he was involved in canal barge traffic.
  In the 1901 Census is shown as Thomas S DAWSON and living at theTalbot Basin in Brereton, Rugeley, Staffs with Emily who was then 35yrs old and 6 children. He is described as a 40 year old Coal Boatman.The children are :- Thomas 18yrs born Droitwich a Colliery Labourer -above ground, Emily aged 8, John (George) 7, Charles 5, Alfred 3 andAlbert 1.
  1911 no trace.
  Eventually, he assisted the canal ice breaker to clear the canal fromRugeley to Rode Heath in Cheshire where he met Elizabeth PALIN andsettled down. They married in 1911 when he was only 18yrs old.Elizabeth was c20yrs old.
  They had four children and then Elizabeth died in 1932.
  John George, known as Jack, later married twice more but had no morechildren.
  He lost an arm in an industrial accident.
  He died in the 1960s.
